The 30th annual Lebanese Food Festival allows you to indulge in a myriad of homemade culinary delights from the democratic republic bordering the east Mediterranean Sea this weekend. Not only that, a wide selection of fermented beverages indigenous to the region can help wash it all down. Traditional music and dance performances will take you to the crossroads of the Mediterranean basin and Arabian hinterland without ever leaving Richmond. In other words, this will be a grand ol’ time. The festival is May 16-18 at St. Anthony’s Maronite Catholic Church. For information call 270-7234 or visit stanthonymaronitechurch.org.
