The myriad of ways the human body can move will be on full display this weekend for the 12th Annual Richmond Choreographers Showcase at the Grace Street Theater. Organized by the Starr Foster Dance Project, the event draws emerging and professional choreographers from Richmond, Charlottesville, Baltimore, D.C. and New York to present their latest physical expressions for the stage and film. Whether you’re a connoisseur of dance or know about as much as “Dancing With the Stars” can teach you, the showcase should keep you thoroughly entertained with a variety of flesh-and-bone communications. Who knows? You might just see the next Martha Graham. Performances take place Saturday, March 22, at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday, March 23, at 2 p.m. Admission is $10. sfdproject.org.
