Thanks for Story on Ricky Taylor

Staff reporter Amy Biegelsen did a fantastically perfect job on writing about Ricky "Ridor" Taylor ("Deaf, Gay and Angry," Cover Story, Sept. 19). I could not find a single thing wrong with anything she said. She was able to perfectly cast his character so that everyone "felt and thought like Ridor." Hands down!

As a senior member of the deaf community, I do not always acknowledge or agree with Ricky Taylor. One must pause and listen to the drumbeat that he creates before judging. In the end, most everyone understands where Ridor is coming from. Trust me, Ridor is unique.
