The artists at River City Tattoo’s four locations specialize in traditional American designs — think skulls, eagles, hearts, panthers, pretty ladies. That doesn’t mean they can’t do a platypus riding a bicycle, though, if that’s what you want. Richmonders also freak out over River City’s free piercing-by-apprentices days. (Sorry, no frenulums.)
