Super Hole Cornhole Tournament at the Hat Factory

Saturday, Jan. 30.

There are few backyard lawn games as widely loved as Cornhole (recently showcased indoors at the Camel). With all the laziness that comes with playing horseshoes without the risk of being hit by a rogue U-shaped piece of metal, the game otherwise known as Tailgate Toss requires nothing more than some tilted pieces of plywood and some fabric squares filled with sand. It's the kind of game that encourages multitasking with a bag in one hand and an alcoholic drink in the other — all you have to do is be the first to 21 points. Bringing the summer-friendly game in from the cold weather, the Hat Factory holds its first Super Hole Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m. Featuring as many as 64 teams of four in a round-robin playoff and bracketed single elimination, enjoy an afternoon of tunes, food and competition by registering at richmondcornhole.com.
