The Richmond Symphony presents a series of one-hour concerts every Thursday this summer at CenterStage’s Gottwald Playhouse, starting this week. Violinist Daisuke Yamamoto and pianist Doris Wylee-Becker will perform selections by German composers Johannes Brahms, Clara Schumann and Robert Schumann on Thursday, July 10, at 6:30 p.m. In association with the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University, the informal concerts continue through August, featuring the complete sonatas of Johannes Brahms and other works by different performing incarnations. Admission is $20 for individual performances, which includes a drink ticket. For information on season pass discounts and the list of performances, visit richmondsymphony.com.
