Style & Substance: New Makeup at Austin's

There's a new face at Austin's Salon, or make that faces. Because their shop was no longer exclusively an Aveda salon, owners Ken Langston and Beth Astin wanted to offer more products for their customers, so they designed their own makeup line called Face It. The makeup contains minerals that are so good for the skin that dermatologists say you won't do any harm if you sleep with it on. Try the mineral sheer foundation with SPF 20, powders with SPF 8 and SPF 15 lip gloss with vitamin C that helps soften the fine lines around the lips. Products range from $15-$45 and are available at Austin's Salon & Day Spa, 15 S. Auburn St.
