Ever wish you had a magical gift granter, who, by sending the right messages to the right people, would forever save you from receiving ill-advised gifts, particularly on Cupid's favorite day?
Your genie has arrived. Anne Hughes (right), owner of Carytown's Eurotrash clothing and accessories boutique, offers a continual wish list at her store, allowing you to have a hand in your own Valentine's Day fate.
"I always love a great piece of clothing as a gift," Hughes says, "but my husband never knows what to pick out. My mother never knows what to pick out. The wish list makes it very easy."
Hughes lets the potential gift recipient (you) try on anything that catches your eye. You leave your final wish list with Hughes, who then mails it to your appointed recipients. Your significant other will also be invited to Men's Night Feb. 6, when he can get his V-Day shopping done quickly and in the company of other men.
"I give them a beer, show them the clothes, and by the time they finish their drink, they're leaving with a wrapped gift," Hughes says. "We try to make it as easy and stress-free as possible."
While you'll love the fashionable new addition to your wardrobe, he'll love the price tag. Many of the boutique's items sell for less than $100.
