Stop! Mortontime!

Perhaps a merciful God will one day forgive comedian Greg Morton for directing episodes of one of the most injurious cartoons to ever desecrate Saturday morning, "Hammerman." (The show detailed the misadventures of an animated MC Hammer and his talking magic shoes. It's much, much worse than it sounds.) While he awaits his final judgment, Morton has tried to atone for his cartoon carnage by making us laugh. With a gap-toothed grin, the comedian takes on current events and popular culture, exposing stupidity and hypocrisy along the way. Greg Morton takes multiple shots at redemption at the Funny Bone May 21-25. $15. 521-8900.
