Since releasing their breakout album, “Glassjaw Boxer,” in 2007, pop-rockers Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers caught the attention and love of fans — or SK6ERS, as they’ve come to be known. The 2009 album, “The Bear,” garnered even more attention, allowing the group to crack the Billboard Top 20 and tour extensively. Last year the Sixers celebrated their 1,000th show in New York City and were quick to release a new album entitled “Gift Horse,” showing that they aren’t taking their success for granted. Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers perform at Capital Ale House on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 9 p.m. $18-$20. 780-2537.
