“Lesser Than Thanes”  The 40th Street Stage presents John Cauthen's comedic take on the Macbeth story from Nov. 14-29, with shows at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. on Sundays. $10. 809 W. 40th  St. 423-4084.
“Really Rosie”  The School of the Performing Arts in the Richmond Community will present a production of this popular Maurice Sendak musical at the ComedySportz Improv Theatre from Nov. 15-23, with shows at 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. $8-$10. 7115-A Staples Mill Road. 266-9377.
“The Widow's Blind Date”  The Firhouse Theatre Project presents this drama about the reunion of three former high school classmates by Israel Horovitz from Nov. 13-Dec. 6 with shows at 8 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays, and matinees on Nov. 16, 23, and 30 at 4 p.m. $10-$25. 1609 W. Broad St. 595-4849.

 “Ancient Airs and Dances”  Choreographed by Stoner Winslett, the Richmond Ballet is set to dance to Italian and French lute songs orchestrated by Respighi through Nov. 16, with evening and matinee showings at the Richmond Ballet's Studio Theatre. Tickets are $15-$28. 407 E. Canal St. 262-8003.
“The Music Man”  The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen and the Henrico Theatre Company presents this musical about a fast-talking conman through Nov. 23, with shows at 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, 2:20 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 and 22, and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday $8-$10. 2880 Mountain Road. 501-5859.
