Looking to take in as much creative expression as humanly possible at a single event this weekend? Then Dogtown Dance Theatre is the place to be. There will a deluge of demiurgic expressions at Spiral, the annual multi-arts event by the local artist collective founded and organized by Ruckus Raising. It features more than 90 Richmond artisans in music, dance, performance, spoken word and art. The slate includes the Dogwood Dance Project, Host of Sparrows, Kemetic Warriors, and Inspyre Fire and Flow Arts, with visual arts from Dave Parrish, Rachel Yeatts, Caroline Dahlberg and a host of others. There will be such a multifarious amount of homegrown stimulations to peruse that you’d be hard-pressed to find it in such abundance anywhere else on earth.
