Singing songs of sex and dancing is what rockabilly ensemble Southern Culture on the Skids is all about. Notorious for such antics as throwing fried chicken and banana pudding onto audiences during stage performances, the band mixes country, rock and punk into one blasting set piece. Blurring the lines of high and low culture in America with its latest album, “Countrypolitician Favorites,” Southern Culture on the Skids comes to Alley Katz with Demolition String Band and Gojira-X Friday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m. $13-$15. 643-2816. — Alexander Chang
