Something in the Water

There's a tortured history behind Creedence Clearwater Revisited. It's a story of bad business deals, legal troubles and a group of men who may never be friends again. There's a time and place for such narratives, but this isn't it. The fans of the original CCR (Creedence Clearwater Revival) who will journey to Innsbrook After Hours won't be thinking of the drama behind the music Wednesday, May 7, at the Snagajob.com Pavilion. They'll be waiting to hear the original version of "Proud Mary," along with hits "Green River" and "Down on the Corner," played by original CCR members Stu Cook and Doug Clifford. The band performs at 6 p.m. with classic rockers Little Feat. $12.50-$35. 217-8803.
