The Virginia Opera is staging "The Pirates of Penzance" at the Landmark Theater and has skillfully incorporated images that recall Johnny Depp's Captain Sparrow from "Pirates of the Caribbean." The opera sails Friday, Nov. 23, at 8 p.m. and again Sunday, Nov. 25, at 2:30 p.m. $20-$85. Call 262-8003 or visit
