Silversmiths, the newly formed indie-rock trio of Kelli Strawbridge (Heavy Rotations and Yo Mama’s Brass Band), Jay Calabro (Red Anthem and the Upper East Side Big Band), and guitarist and vocalist Matthew Smith, have a style of music that draws a lot from acts such as Band of Horses. In the limited time Silversmiths have been on the scene, the group already has amassed a steady following of loving fans who have been waiting not so patiently for a physical release. Fans will have their moment when Silversmiths release their debut CD with a performance at the Camel on Sunday, Aug. 14, at 9 p.m. $5-$7. 353-4901.
