Xcape Ultra Premium Lounge: Set to premiere this week, the new identity for the former Hyperlink CafAc at 814 W. Dear Short Order:
About three weeks ago I went into Karsen's and purchased a $50 gift certificate for a stocking stuffer for my wife. Obviously I was shocked to see the announcement that the restaurant had closed.
When I purchased the gift certificate, the lady said, “I am sorry, but we are out of envelopes; these have been selling so fast.”
Clearly the folks that own Karsen's knew they were closing the doors when we were all giving them our money. They may not have wanted to let everyone know they were closing, and maybe they had hopes of surviving, but they could have simply done an honorable thing, and
say they were out of gift certificates, and not taken our money.
