Shopping 411: Wedding Gown Basics / Wear the Right White

Stark White is the brightest and crispest of whites. It's also quite complimentary to dark complexions.

Silk (also referred to as Diamond or Natural White) is a shade off of and a bit softer than stark white. It's also the most popular choice among brides.

Ivory (also known as Eggshell or Candlelight) has yellow undertones that create a creamy hue.

Rum (or Champagne) is white with pink undertones; looks almost white in photographs.
