She's Easy Listening

The poor souls who purchased tickets for last year's suddenly canceled "Sing-a-Long-a Abba" have another chance to celebrate the music of the super-Swedes. "Mamma Mia" is one of those musicals that cleverly use the songs of pop stars to construct a narrative that has nothing to do with them. This one's about a daughter's search for her father, which brings three of the most likely suspects to an island the day before her wedding. Three guys? Sounds like ol' Mamma Mia was having the time of her life. The musical with more productions playing simultaneously around the world than any other comes to the Landmark Theater Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 8 p.m., and runs through Feb. 3. Tickets are $25-$50.
