Shaka’s “Simba”?

Looking at the picture with the story on the Smarts' home purchase in the Fan, I could not help but smile, as I do every time I see it, at the picture of Shaka raising his oh-so-cute daughter, Zora, above his head ... presenting her to his Virginia Commonwealth University fan family. It always reminds me of that scene from "The Lion King" when Mustafa, the king of the lions, lifts his newborn son, Simba, above his head and presents him as the heir to his kingdom. Maybe this is a sign that one day Zora will reign over VCU. Just a thought! Thanks for bringing a smile to my face in the midst of dealing with Monday's storm damage. Glenda Jackson Henrico
