Exploding onto the scene in 1990 with their debut album, “Shake Your Money Maker,” The Black Crowes have undoubtedly contributed to rock 'n' roll's modern aesthetic. With throbbing bass, howling riffs and rich Southern lyrics, the twang and bang of the Crowes is still going strong. As part of the current “Euphoria or Bust” tour following the release of the latest album “Warpaint,” Chris Robinson and the rest of the band will be making a two-night stop at the National on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 7-8, with doors opening at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35. 708 E. Broad St. For more info call 612-1900 or visit www.thenationalva.com.
