Sax Appreciation

I really enjoyed the article about a close personal friend, Buzz Montsinger (“A Healthy Buzz,” Arts & Culture, Nov. 25). All of us who love and respect Buzz are excited about him playing sax again.

The new album, “Richmond Soul Music Review,” is really terrific and I play it a lot on the radio. It's a who's who of great local musicians such as Ron Moody, Page Wilson and many more. One of my favorites on the album is the old Betty Wright song, “Clean Up Woman.” Janet Martin just does a terrific job with the song.

Buzzy, keep playing, and as Junior Walker would say, “I'm gonna blow for ya.”
