RVANews Is Shutting Down

rva_news.jpg

RVANews founder and publisher Ross Catrow announced today that the local media outlet will be shutting down Friday after almost 10 years.

"I'm very proud that I was part of making something that you guys, all of our readers, thought was a cool place to come hangout," Catrow wrote in a post titled "So long, RVA" on Monday. "Now, let’s move those hangouts to real life and maybe add in a few beers?"

There's more discussion, plus an FAQ about the closure over on RVANews. Best of luck to our fellow Richmond media cohorts.
