I feel sorry for people who never dance. They truly live lives of quiet desperation. The physical manifestation of music is what separates music from all the other creative expressions, and if you’re either unable or unwilling to let it move you, there’s something seriously wrong with you. If you suffer from this debilitating condition, I strongly suggest attending RVAlution. Back from a much-too-long period of inactivity, the popular dance night returns to the Canal Club on Saturday, Dec. 7, with disc jockeys Archnemesis, Doddie Braza from Audio Ammo, Robert Patroni, Phil Dice and Opex, spinning 21st-century tunes to free you from your affliction. Once you start busting a move, it’s hard to stop. Doors open at 8 p.m. Admission is $12. thecanalclub.com.
