Venues around the city are hosting the second RVA Noise Fest, a three-day music festival celebrating Richmond’s musical fringes from punk and noise to psychedelic and experimental. Bands listed for the fest include Mutwawa, Anduin, Diamond Black Hearted Boy, Negative Gemini, Close Your Eyes I’m Changing, Slow News Day in the Vampire World, Thieves of Shiloh, Elian and Focus On Shapes — and that’s just the first night. The RVA Noise Fest II takes place at Sound of Music Studios (April 26 at 7 p.m. $5.), Strange Matter (April 27 at 7 p.m. $5-$10.) and the Nile (April 28 at 10 p.m. Free.)
