Always bringing thought-provoking discussions and interesting people to town, the Richmond Forum kicks off its season with oceanographer Robert Ballad, who is best known for his 1985 discovery of the Titanic shipwreck, along with dozens other lost ships and ancient artifacts. Ballard uses the latest science and technology to explore the ocean’s depths and in November, his exploration vessel, Nautilus, will be finishing a four-month exploration of the Black Sea, the Mediterranean Sea and the coast of Sicily. Robert Ballard speaks at the Landmark Theater as part of the Richmond Forum on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 8 p.m. $31-$48. 646-0546.
