I'm with you Lydia. Now I need to research how to go about the citizens lawsuit. Do you have any info?

Call Rick Rogers head of water dept with EPA. Demand that the water be cleaned and filtered BEFORE it goes into the James.

The more who call the more serious they will take this.

Here is the number to the Virginia Department of Water Quality who reviews all of the permits: 804-527-5020

Voice your concern, I did. As they say, the squeaky wheels gets the oil :)

Re: “Dominion Gets Approval to Dump Treated Coal Ash Wastewater in James River

Please voice your concern! I just made about 10 phone calls to the EPA and finally came in contact with Rick Rogers who heads up the water department. If you are as concerned as I am please take a few minutes out of your day to call him and let him know how important this is to look into. The permit that was pushed through by our state water control board does NOT require dominion to build a waste water treatment facility before it dumps the coal ash sludge into our beautiful James River. Coal ash contains arsenic, lead, mercury and other heavy metals that are toxic to both people and animals.
Call and be heard!
