Grammy Award-winning singer “Miss” Patti LaBelle leaves her native Philadelphia this weekend and pays Richmond a visit for CenterStage’s second birthday gala, bringing with her a collection of soul hits including “If Only You Knew,” “Love, Need and Want You” and “Lady Marmalade.” With her show-stopping performances and incredible vocal talents, LaBelle plans to give CenterStage a birthday to remember when she performs at its Carpenter Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. $48-$125. 592-3330.
