Parts and Labor at the Triple

For its fourth album, “Receivers,” Brooklyn-based Parts and Labor, known for layered, experimental noise-rock songs, asked listeners to fill out audio surveys that were eventually engineered to create every song on the group's LP. For the fall tour, the band is continuing this social-themed production by requesting that fans call (888) 317-5596 and basically scream their heads off, whisper sweet nothings or leave whatever kind of message they want on an answering machine, which the band will then try to incorporate into live shows. Parts and Labor plays the Triple on Monday, Nov. 17 at 10 p.m. 359-7777.
