Mayoral candidate Donnie “Dirtwoman” Corker has officially ended his campaign and says he's throwing his considerable muu-muu-clad weight behind City Council President Bill Pantele.
“Bill Pantele is the man for the job,” Corker says. “I'm campaigning for him.”
Corker, infamous in Richmond for his exploits as the city's most notorious superheavyweight class cross-dressing prostitute, was the first candidate to enter the mayoral race, declaring his intention to run more than a year ago.
Last month he failed to collect the requisite number of signatures to have his name on the November ballot, but said at the time that he planned to continue his run as a write-in candidate.
