Out on a Limb

Roots grow deep in the family tree, but we don't often get to witness live dance interpretations of these ties that bind. The Z Mullins Dance Company, formed in February 2006 by dancer and choreographer Tara Zaffuto Mullins, presents "Branches," a series of interactive dance performances that represent relationships between women: daughters, sisters, mothers and best friends, in all of their complexity. Witness a mother/child relationship in "Cling" and the ongoing search for peace and quiet in "RUSH." Performances are Friday and Saturday, March 28-29, at 8 p.m. at St. Catherine's School's McVey Theatre. Tickets are $10-$15. 513-3976 or visit www.zmullinsdance.org.
