Unlike paintings and sculpture, which can be trucked around the country and put on display in any gallery in any city, site-specific works such as these are unique to their time and place. Either created before your eyes, as with light projections and sound sculpture, or set up at the time of the show in a way that could never be exactly reproduced somewhere else. The reception takes place from 7-11 p.m. — wayne melton
