Since their genesis as four VCU students known as Burn the Priest, Lamb of God has sold more than a million records. They've performed at all the right rock festivals, received a Grammy nomination and appeared on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien." They've also earned a legion of fans who aren't afraid to mosh it up and knock you down. This week, the band comes home. Hatebreed, Alabama Thunderpussy and 3 Inches of Blood open at Toad's Place Sept. 2 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25-$28. 648-TOAD.
