Tastemakers is chock-full of events this week, including a new April Tuesday open mic night at .

Yeah, big deal, open mic night, right? Well, the Deli is teaming up with the local band Mudhen to make this one special. Every Tuesday from 7-11 p.m. local musicians and bands are invited to the stage for a free PA setup with drum kit provided by the band, and a free all-you-can-eat buffet provided by the Deli.

Just bring your singing voice, guitar and appetite. Bringing some fans probably wouldn’t hurt either. 5218 W. Broad St. 282-9333.

in Carytown hosts a dinner Friday night at 6 p.m., sponsored by the Vegetarian Society of Richmond. The meal includes choices like portobello mushroom fajitas and nachos Havana, with gratuity included for $14. Reserve a space by April 4 at 344-4356.

The folks in will pop the corks from Prince Michel Vineyard wines during a dinner Sunday at 5:30 p.m. The dinner includes a champagne reception with appetizers, a three-course meal and dessert. The $85 price tag includes all. Call 225-5105 for reservations.
