One Giant Leap for Dancers

University of Richmond houses a dance concert of epic proportions, which strikes a cord of irony since this show, "Leap," performs on the 29th. The university's director of dance, Myra Daleng, oversees the production, now in its 23rd year, and features eleven dance pieces, including a mix of ballet, jazz, modern, and Balinese dance. Dances will be performed by students, professors, and guest appearances, featuring Robert Battle, director and choreographer of international dance company Battleworks and a graduate of Juilliard. The show begins February 28 at 7:30 p.m. and dances on through March 2. $15. 289-8980. - Liana Kleeman
