On Their Best Behavior

Maybe these young hooligans will straighten up and fly right with the attention due at their April 19 show. Duchess of York's foursome will be banging out its blues-infused rock at Toad's Place Saturday for some important folks: Rumor has it that label representatives from Colombia, Epic, Downtown and Blue Note Records have caught wind of the big sound from Richmond. Rounding out the show is another fearsome local rock outfit the Dead Goats. If you've seen either one of these bands, you know they're prone to neither straightening up nor flying right. But we'll see. The show starts at 8 p.m. $5-$10. 648-TOAD or visit www.toadsplacerva.com.

Correction: The original version of this story called the Dead Goats a duo. There are actually six of them.
