Most college students expect home life to have changed a little when they make that first trip back from school, but hardly to the extent that Prince Hamlet finds his beloved palace Elsinore. Considering his father's death, his mother's marriage to his uncle and the revelation — from dear old dad's ghost, no less — that the whole mess is a murder conspiracy, you should consider that Exercycle in your old room a blessing. Closing its summer festival celebration, Richmond Shakespeare presents the Bard's most revered tragedy in an outdoor setting at Agecroft Hall. “Hamlet” continues through Aug. 2 Thursday through Sunday at 8 p.m. $13-$26. 866-227-3849. — Mike Hilleary
