Buddy Guy's blistering recent performance at Toad's Place may have left you wanting --- more blues music. The Richmond Jazz Society Guest Educator's series is offering a double dose to cure your blues withdrawal, and it ain't no placebo. The prescription: Terry Garland, a local player known in Europe and Japan for his lively covers of blues standards. Garland will be joined by Lady E, a nurse by day who knows how to administer blues therapy and get results. The lady will be backed by her Blues Synsation Band at the Canal Club Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8-$12. 643-1972. S
