Not Even One Bearded Lady?

The circus is coming to town! But don't hold your breath for tight-rope walkers, or bearded ladies, or even a big top. Coming to the Richmond Coliseum, Montreal's Cirque du Soleil is set to perform its latest show, "Delirium," June 12-13 at 8 p.m. The show includes the company's trademark acrobatics, but with a few added twists. For the first time ever, Cirque du Soleil's instrumental tracks are accompanied by lyrics, and in other pieces the performers' familiar imaginary language is replaced by words in English, French, Spanish, Wolof and Portuguese, real languages that sound absurd when someone bends themselves into the shape of a wagon wheel. Tickets start at $38.50. Call 262-8100 or visit www.cirquedusoleil.com.
