Cary Street Café Jam band King Solomon's Marbles perform amid party favors and champagne, starting at 10 p.m. Admission is $12. 353-7445.

Children's Museum of Richmond The Ululating Mummies perform at the New Year's Eve Bash, 1-3 p.m. Visitors can also make their own noisemakers for a parade and the New Year's countdown. 474-7000.

Comedy Alley ComedySportz performs improvisational comedy at 7 and 10 p.m., with a milk and Twinkie toast at 9 p.m. and a champagne toast at midnight. The first show costs $12. The second show costs $20-$22. 266-9377.

Fusion This new restaurant offers a few different music and dining options for New Year's Eve, including a performance by Stone's Stew with a four-course meal starting at 9:30 p.m. Admission is $75, with other options costing $55 and late-night admission to the club costing $20. 222-2200.

Hyperlink Café The oxygen bar rings in the New Year with a cabaret performance featuring Latin jazz and salsa band Bio Ritmo, a champagne toast and full buffet, $75-$100. 254-1942.

John Marshall Hotel and Bubble Bar The Bubble Bar presents the George Melvin Experience with Carol Covell on the bar's last night before closing for renovations. Admission is $20. 783-1929.

Maggiano's Little Italy The Mark Lomanno Trio performs with John Winn, starting at 9 p.m. Music, champagne and dessert buffet costs $25. 253-0900.

Poe's Pub The Wall-O-Matics perform at a celebration featuring party favors and a champagne toast. The band goes on at 9:30 p.m. Admission is $10. 648-2120.

Sin é The Irish restaurant rings in the New Year twice, with a toast at 7 p.m. to celebrate Ireland's New Year and one at midnight here. Special Edition performs. Admission is free. 649-7767.

The Tobacco Company The English Channel performs at this party, featuring a catered buffet and hors d'oeuvres, dancing and a champagne toast. For the all-access black tie dinner party, admission is $95 per person. Admission to see the English Channel is $20. The dinner party runs 8 p.m.-2 a.m., while the upstairs show starts at 9:30 p.m. 782-9555.

Upper East Side Lounge Samson Lounge Union performs a New Year's Eve show starting at 9 p.m. Admission is $5. 515-8099.
