Since gaining prominence and a Grammy nomination with the 2007 hit “Typical,” alt rockers Mutemath have solidified their name in rock circles. After tours with acts such as Eisley, Alanis Morissette and Matchbox 20, the group is headlining its own tour of the country in support of the upcoming album, “Odd Soul,” due out Oct. 4. Expect to hear the band’s numerous hits as it performs a two-hour set featuring selections from every one of its albums — including the self-titled debut and breakout hit album, “Armistice.” Mutemath performs at the Canal Club on Thursday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m. $20. 643-2582.
