Mumbai Attacks Claim Virginians 

Alan Scherr, and his daughter Naomi, were killed Wednesday in the Mumbai terror attacks.

An arts professor and a master of meditation, Alan Scherr led the Synchronicity Foundation in Nelson County as a spiritual oasis, a New Age wonderland. He and his daugther, Naomi, were killed Nov. 26 when gunman opened fired at Oberoi Hotel, where they were having a late dinner.
