A while ago, someone we won’t name sent a handwritten Christmas card to Style Weekly. It said: “One man can make a difference in this world. But in the case of Charlie Diradour, he really shouldn’t.” Diradour, a Fan resident and a developer, suddenly is everywhere: Buying a porn shop and turning it into a Mexican restaurant! Raising the possibility that longtime Fan bar Buddy’s would close — then saving it! Running for City Council! Protesting the removal of the Art 180 exhibit on Monument Avenue! (Pictured, he’s rescuing a painting that mistakenly was reported to the city as a nuisance.) Prepare to see much, much more of him, whatever happens in November.
