More Priest Accusations Surface 

Before being placed on leave, Leonard proclaimed his innocence in remarks to his congregation at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Glen Allen.

While details are sketchy, two St. John Vianney alumni who spoke with Style on condition of anonymity say two more accusations have been reported to the diocese's investigative team in recent weeks. When it began its investigation, the team asked that anyone with further accusations come forward by June 3.

The diocese's investigation team is not releasing details of any accusations while the matter is under investigation. Nor are they apprising the Rev. Pasquale Apuzzo, spokesman for the diocese, of developments, Apuzzo says.

Monsignor Thomas J. Caroluzza, one of two members of the diocese's investigation team, says he does not want to jeopardize his neutrality by commenting.

The investigation team hopes to submit its findings to Bishop Walter F. Sullivan "soon," Apuzzo says. — Melissa Scott
