More Cool Cats Please

Another great Music Issue, and yet another without any mention of the Richmond Jazz Society (or any past or present active members). I guess being together since 1979 and bringing great music to this city (it has bought Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Jimmy Smith and most recently Tia Fuller, Steve Wilson and Steve Turre) can't inspire enough support for at least a tiny mention. Richmond ain't all rap and rock!

Editor's note: We appreciate the Richmond Jazz Society. And we hope you saw the story on RVA Big Band at Balliceaux, along with our featuring the Compass Rose Orchestra, Alan Parker and Chris Ryan on the Music Issue's digital compilation.
