The Moogly Blues Band describes itself as “one of those midlife-crisis blues bands.” Formed in 2005, the Richmond blues group blends a multitude of musical influences and puts out pure blues and soul-infused rock ’n’ roll. The band plays often around Richmond, including Poe’s Pub, Urban Farmhouse and the Diamond, as well as various outdoor events across the state. Moogly Blues Band brings the stuff to Capital Ale House on Friday, May 18, at 5 p.m. Free. 780-ALES.
