Monster Drawing Rally at 1708 Gallery

Not content with just featuring one artist’s work, 1708 Gallery shows off the talents of multiple artists simultaneously with the Monster Drawing Rally. This battle royal performance and art sale will consist of four one-hour shifts with as many as 14 artists drawing simultaneously per hour. Art lovers can watch the pieces come to life and purchase the completed works. Kids also can take part by creating pieces of their own at the wall-sized coloring station. This event takes place at 1708 Gallery on Saturday, Aug. 27, from 3:30-9 p.m. $5. 643-1708.
