After releasing its 2008 EP “Acoustics,” featuring rerecorded versions of various Minus the Bear songs and a new single “Guns & Ammo,” the five-piece hits the road on its fall tour. Minus the Bear, known for its math-rock guitar play and upbeat dance-rock melodies, released its first album featuring new band member Alex Rose, called “Planet of Ice,” in 2007. The album maintained all prior Minus the Bear flavors, but introduced a more layered sound with the new addition of synthesizers and electronics. The show is Monday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. $16-$19. 612-1900.
