Ministries Head Sets Record Straight

Regarding "Bishop Bails Out Jail's Ex-Chaplain," (Street Talk, March 28), Joe Ellison is quoted as follows: "'I can be a chaplain anywhere,' Ellison says, showing off badges and credentials issued by Chaplain Fellowship Ministries, a nonprofit, nondenominational religious certifying body."

Joe Ellison is no longer endorsed by Chaplain Fellowship Ministries, and his membership is not in good standing. Simply put, he is not a member and has no endorsement from Chaplain Fellowship Ministries or has he had for several months.
