Re: “VIDEO: Women in Dave Brat’s "Grill" About Town Hall Meeting

I have been banned from commenting on Brat's Facebook postings for years merely because I frequently disagree with him. Lately a lot of new people have come out of the shadows to disagree openly with Brat, and he can't ban them fast enough. This man only wants sycophants and hero worshippers meeting with him. His mind is made up about everything. He is way overdue to be sent home for good.

Re: “Inside the Brat Philosophy

Brat has banned me, and I imagine others, from posting in response to his Facebook postings. I guess he does not want to hear anyone who does not agree with him and he thinks he represents only those who agree with him. He may be getting attention, but with his attitude his is not accomplishing much and I suspect he will not be in his job for long.

Re: “The Shine on the Diamond

As former Richmond City Council Member Bruce Tyler proudly told me, his architectural firm built the Diamond to last for 20 years. Just because the original Olympic Stadium is still standing in Athens and the Coliseum is still standing in Rome does not mean Richmond needs to invest in sports venues that have any reasonable longevity. Apparently the citizens have an endless supply of money to spend on such projects, even as the public schools are falling down on our children.

Re: “Dragging Mom Into the Ballpark Debate?

Bruce Tyler's firm was responsible for the Diamond, which was falling down before it was 20 years old. The Coliseum in Rome is still standing; the original Olympic Stadium can still be visited in Athens. But a Bruce Tyler project is designed to crumble in 20 years, he came to my front door and told me this himself. We are well rid of Bruce Tyler.
